Accidentally Resetting my Odometer?
If I install indiglow gauges, do I have to worry about resetting my odometer when I disconnect the power wires? I was just wondering, and btw, does anyone have a good how-to with pics on how to install indiglow gauges/ or any other type of gauges w/ the same procedure? I know E55AMG told me to PM studman but he hasnt responded. thanks

No, your mileage is stored in the instrument cluster or in the ECU. At work when replace instrument clusters the mileage comes up with no programming required.
I know that on our Chrysler PCMs the mileage is one of the things that must be entered when installing one fresh out of the box, along with the VIN, SKIM (security key) code, etc.
