ok, wtf was nissan thinking when I drove this GLE at the dealer and it has no heated seats and NO SUNROOF????! The seats i can do with out, not the sunroof tho. the ford dealer said they can install one for about $990 (lifetime warranty) perfect cond. 54k miles $14800. I'm afraid if they install one it wont look factory, and i'd be pissed if they said its a pop-up sunroof lol. Love how it drove but need the sunroof. (but it wouldnt be factory) i think its the kind that pops up and goes outside the car. hmmm what to do......?

 

personally, i'd wait for a different one. i can't stand those roofs that go outside the car. what year?

 

its a 2002, i actually like how the gle drives compared to the se. i doubt imma check it out, more and more i think about it, less i want the car.

 

I hear that almost never does a aftermarket sunroof work like a factory one. However If I was going to get one installed a dealer ship is the way to go. If it was me, I would wait to spend $15,000 on the exact car I wanted, rather than just settling on something.

 

For that price, it sounds like it's a power sunroof, not the pop-up kind. I used to work at a dealership and seen those being installed all the time. They are actually not bad as long as the installer knows what they are doing. The only downside is that if your car is 02-03 GLE the aftermarket switch won't be like the sliding mechanism in the factory ones. Otherwise, the appearance of the switch may be different, but the operation is the same.
