Cruise Control Light "Blinks"

Hey guys. On the 95 GXE Auto when I'm driving and push the cruise control button on the steering wheel, the cruise control does not engage, and the green cruise control light on the dash blinks. it keeps blinking until I push the cancel button. Someone was saying to check a fuse, but where is the fuse/relay. I didnt see any cruise control relay under the hood, or a fuse under the steering column...And yes the c.control button is bushed on the column...
Anybody run into this before/ideas???

mine has done that a few times but it was when I did something weird like hit the switch on the dash to turn it on, and hit set on the steering wheel at the same exact time... try arming it on the dash and give it a minute or so before you set it with the steering wheel? Just an idea..

Ive tried that, but still get same results. When I bought the car, I forgot to check the cruise control, then I called back the owner, and he said, "I dont know if the cruise control works because I never use it"

Mine has done that a couple times, once when the cruise control was already set and it turned itself off. CC no longer works on my car.....
