96 and 99 Maximas... will the front license plate bracket off a 96 fit the 99?

 

I am guessing no. They bumpers were redesigned between 96-97 and from looking at the bracket on my 97 they are shaped to the bumper so any change in the shape would mean it wouldn't fit. I might be wrong though...

no they wont fit. i got a no front plate ticket, and tried fitting my friends younger 4th gen and it did not fit.

I'd say so. The front bumper's are the same.
