Hey guys n gals, its been a while. I will be coming back to the US for a week next month, and, my Maxima is still throwing a CEL with the P0135 code, and, I have to get it inspected while I am back.

I am told that this code is for Bank 1 Sensor 1 Heater Circuit Malfunction.

I have replaced that particular O2 sensor twice, and, replaced the MAF also, but, the coder is still getting thrown.

Anybody else suffered this problem, and, more to the point, has anyone fixed it?

It is a Cali Spec 01 GXE auto.

 

I take it that I am the only Maxima owner to have this problem then?, still, nice to be unique.

 

i have the same problem with my 96, i was wondering if you ever found the fix?

 

Even in using a don the heater circuit has to still be connected on the actual sensor. So that wouldn't fix it. Other than that I have no recommendations as you've already tried replacing the sensor

 

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the same problem, I just recently erased the code with an OBD scanner after changing that sensor twice. So currently its off but I bet it will go back on.
