SENSOR light on dash bar

anyone know how to reset this so that it isn't illuminated.

I've just hit 78K and replaced the O2 sensor with the tune-up, but this light is still showing on the "idiot bar".

as usual, many thanks!

Pull your ecu out from under the seat and reset the ecu (turn the screw all the way, let it sit for a few seconds then turn it back to the original position)....also I don't know if this works but some people un-hook the battery for x amount of hours and that suposedly resets the ecu as well.

---oh and about the sensor light it stops working after so many miles so I know I have never seen it come on before and I imagine most of the other people here have never seen that light come on either.

Just unhook the battery for 15 min. That should clear it out. If it dosen't then you gotta erase the code on the ECU(like cardana said).
Turn the screw counter clock wise till the LEDs blink four times, then turn it clock wise that should erase any CEL you have.

There is a reset switch I believe in the driver side left kick panel that you just press to reset the light. The sensor light is not an ECU code. It's a timer that doesn't effect the actual ECU itself.....just a maintenence light. After 90k miles, you'll just need to unhook the harness for the light.
