i know 2 in a row tonite i started but this ones different...not as important....

both my power mirrors dont work, its not the fuse, switch or wiring (havent checked relay yet) and i would like to take them out and take a look see how ever when i get the mirrors dis attached from the door the wiring goes way down into the door and when i took the panel door off i wouldnt find a connector for the mirrors so....

do they go through the door and into the cabin behind the dash and if so WHERE!?!?!?!

i have power mirrors and i wish they would work because i am getting blinded at night and i cant adjust them inbetween not getting blinded and still being able to see

 

yeah mine did that exact same thing too, except mine was intermittent. sometimes the A/C switch worked when it wanted to, and the same exact thing happened with the hazard flashers. I also had a low fuel light that came on whenever it wanted to, regardless of how much gas I had, and sometimes my alternator light would come on when I shut the ignition off and took the key out. I went to school to be an electrician and spent some time working in the trade and even I'm stumped. I've been told that intermittent electrical issues are known on these cars.

its not intermitent, they've never worked since i have had the car

 

iv'e had the same problem w/my driver's side mirror on my '87. the side to side works but the up and down is out. checked everything and even replaced the mirror. nothing seems to remedy the situation. let me know if you figure it out and i'll do the same.
