Yesterday I brought my car to my mechanic to have my Centeforce clutch in and Alluminum Flywheel installed, and also to have my huge oil leak fixed. I thought the leak was coming from behind my crank pully but noooo! The oil was spuwing out of my engine drain plate on the side of my engine. Anyways the guys at the shop said it would cost $600 to fix!{LOL}, muhaha, I took my car and ran! I got home took off my SC and got to my damn oil drain plate, sprayed the area down with brakleen, then removed my drain plate. Then I hand cleaned the area and added a heftey amount of sealant to the area and reversed the steps. I could have avoided this whole mishap by installing it right the first time.Anyways after about 6 hours I fixed the damn oil leak and saved $600{LOL}, I swear I know more then my mechanics do. Atleast my Clutch was installed perfectly.

Haha, Thanks. I just filled the oil up before I drove it to my house and I made it home fine. About the Pully, I am expecting it to come in any day now, to bad I did not have it on me today, ohh well. I have allready taken my SC off 3 times now so a 4th time won't hert, BTW it's getting easier and easier to do each time.

 

How do you like your new clutch and flywheel????

 

Nothing new for me since my max had the same setup in it. The Clutch engagement is very ruff, it kind of snaps into gear rather then glide in. The upside is my car revs up noticably faster and my Clutch can now hold the power of my SC. Of course I have not pushed my car at all yet with new clutch since a 500 mile break in is neeeded. Once thats done it will be time to go to the track!

 

So, how did the wrestling match went? Did you use your finishing technique? Maybe you should try a choke hold on the stubborn thing.

 

where is everyone getting the 3.48 pully from? also what about the 3.25??
