thanks! I kept wondering if the problem was either the battery, starter or alternator.

Took the battery to get tested and it turned out to be bad so I replaced it with a 'Red Top' Optima battery. 80+ miles and 5 days later and it's working like a charm ***crossing my finders still***

Hopefully that's all it was and all remains well...
