How much for a new 5 spd tranny

I am debating on getting rid of my max or fixing it.. How much for a 97 5 spd tranny.?

rebuilt? used? or aftermarket?

i did my tranny and the rebuild cost me $427 i took the tranny out my self. if u want a used tranny it will cost u 400-1200$ depending on year, milage and condition, check out www.car-parts.com good luck
