Hello, Everyone.

Well, it's about time I got more serious about either polishing or waxing my Maxima, but I only have a driveway to work with instead of a garage (which is filled with junk).

I was wondering that if I do polish and/or wax outside on the driveway, should I cover the car after applying the stuff while I wait for the curring process to complete? I'm afraid that things like insects, dirt, and sand might get stuck into the stuff during the hours needed for the work. What do you think? Or am I just being **** about it?

all you have to do is wait for a calm day and wax/polish with the car parked in the shade, also only do a little at a time.

 

As long as you don't wash/wax in the direct sun, it's fine...

 

I wash/wax in the sun... but I make sure it's not a very hot day.

when I have waxed in the sun, it makes it really hard to buff the dried wax off, if I can, I prefer a garage.

 

We tried Jane97SE's new Koni's on my SE strut... she'll me if I stole those from her. Don't worry, I ordered a set of Koni's yesterday.

*hint hint* to someone whose name I shall not mention.

 

I use my stuff in the sun and don't have a garage. Zainos doesn't dry hard as store bought products. I sometimes do panels at a time if the wind is whipping around.
