go to any autozone, they'll be able to tell you exactly what you need, and it should cost you about 3 bucks.

did you try reading your owners manual?

for regular tasks like changing bulbs it tells you where every bulb is located, what type it is, and how to replace it.

The stock bulb is #921 (18W) but like aspec0002 said you can use LED's.

I've tried using 194 LED bulbs but it still doesn't look bright enough. So, the best thing is to to get some LED's from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3838458165) and soldier them onto a circuit board. Check out David Warner's page for some ideas on how to do this http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/232284/9.

i went to autozone... with what it said in the owners manual... and they couldnt seem to find any bulbs that were replacements... i wasnt just asking a stupid question, it was a legitimate one... thanks linkage, im apt to follow your advice.... are your new bulbs the same size or does it require any work modding?

Man, now I'm thinking of buying a backup camera. Where does one acquire one of these things?

Look on eBay...that is your best bet...I got mine for only like $200 and it works real swell! It even has a night-vision option which i highly recommend!

you may be able to buy a 1156 harness and have it fit but thats about it.

95-96 - 1156
97-99 - 921 but i'm pretty sure 906 will fit.

you can sell me the 1156s for $5!

and It could be even brighter! If you had 1157 bulbs and soldered the 2 bottom terminals, that would be brighter but run more wattage. I'm sure it would be OK unless you just sit in reverse for like 20 mins a day
