5w-30 mobile 1, changing out filter and oil every 7500. That's basically the manual recommendation on dino, so being on syn and doing it that often is probably overkill.

Mobil 1 w/ Nissan filter every 10k. Car is at 92k right now. Never need to add oil between changes, and when you remove the cap, all the metals visible are still shiny and clean. I drive 5000 miles or more a month, so I try to get my moneys worth out of the oil

IMHO, probably anything under 6k is a waste of money unless you road race, or have forced induction. If you need reassurance, do an oil analysis.

I use 5W-30 Mobil 1 every 5k. My oil analysis showed that I could move up to every 6k, so we'll see what happens next analysis.
