Oil temp gauge.

I was wondering what is required to hook up an oil temp Autometer gauge up to the Maxima? Does the gauge it self come with everything you need?

I'm going to assume the oil temp gauge comes with the same stuff as a tranny temp gauge. I did a tranny temp gauge in my car and it came with the wiring, gauge, and sending unit. I had to have a hole drilled into my tranny pan to tap in the sending unit though. I think some guys on here have split off a oil line to tap in their sending units for oil temp. Don't know if this helps, but i thought it might.

The correct way would be to drop the oil pan. Weld on a bung. Screw the sender into the bung. If you can't weld, you can just take the pan to a muffler shop.
