Wylie stopped by (56k blows goats)

And we got some pics! Yes, they are a little dark. I must say that Wylie has one of the cleanest 85 GL's in this area. The Rikens are nice, but the pics do it no justice. So here it goes:

Pics look great! ( You'll have to pardon my filthy car, I just drove 1200 miles from Van, B.C. to Oregon and back ) I just got home now, had to stop at the duty free store. I'll get mine up tomorrow morning.

is this camber problem related to your 5-lug conversion, S?

Possibly. Or the fact that camber bolts suck. See the funny part is it goes in and out of adjustment...usually when it goes out, it's when I'm going reverse. Going forward it seems to return to a more normal setting. The passenger side front is still slightly off, so another camber bolt will need to be installed on that, just haven't had much time. But honestly, I think part of my problem is I need to just rebuild my front end. I need new bushings, half-shafts, tie-rod ends, steering rack boots....that's probably why i'm having the problem.

Bah, I'd go back to the Oregon coast anytime. The scenery is breathtaking, the seafood is excellent, the dunes are a blast, and best of all no tax so shopping is a bonus! And seeing as it only took an hour and 45mins. to get home from Sarin's, I most likely will be paying him some more visits in the future as well.

Well, after my short visit with Sarin, I came away with his old FSTB, and a CD2 engine detail kit. ( Thanks again, Sarin! ) I did use the degreaser, and boy did it work wonders! It really cleaned it up good, and I have the FSTB installed. ( So far It doesn't seem to hit ) I have yet to use the engine dressing yet though, because seeing Sarin's engine bay inspired me to pretty up mine a bit too. I'm hoping to track down some blue loom this week and finish up my engine bay detail so I can post up some pics. I also changed my intake around a bit too, ditching the stupid intake muffler box and going with a sort of mid-pipe only setup with the filter still in the engine bay. My butt-dyno could feel an immediate torque difference without that box, definately an hour well spent.

Oh, BTW, I don't think you ever got my real name, Sarin. It's Wyatt.
