1st time buyer Please help me out

Hello everyone,

I've been a Maxima fan for many years. Initially my wife and
I were looking at the 2003's 6 speed when they 1st came out and was in awh!
But the price at the time $36+ (CDN $) was a bit out of our price range.
We are back in the market and was hoping to get your opinion on this car.
Hoping to find a 03 6sp Titanium Edition Max

I have a few questions.

1. Are there any known issues I should be looking for before I purchase?
Any recalls, quality issues, flaws I should be looking when test driving?

2. I recall this model having HLSP (Helical Limited Slip Differential) is this still correct?

3. The 6 In-Dash CD Changer are there still issues?

4. The windows trapping water when rolling them up after a wash.
Has this been resolved?

5. Heard that the DTE/MPG computer was not very accurate?

6. Memory seats? I don't remember does it have this option?

Any comments or advise is welcome.

Check the TSB's, mostly just Bose and auto tranny related, but you won't have to worry about the tranny issues if you get a 6spd.

Yup, check for slotted pedals, or ask the dealer (HLSD)

Of course its Bose.

This happens with most cars, even my 4th gen. But it;s not bad, hasn't happened with my 5.5g yet.

True, it's not, but again in what car is it? With all the driving variables, how can one make a computer to track it so accurately?.
