i remember on the last GD, the FC midpipe deal took so long to go through because frankencar took their time getting back to us. You can try to start one. Just contact them.

My blue frankencar intake with Apex'i filter is up for sale if anyone is interested. Used for about a year and half. Make me an offer.

Sorry for hijacking...

i contacted them on friday. i will let you all know when i hear back.

P.S. do you remember how good of a deal it was? i'm starting to get the feeling these are hard to set up and for like $5-$10 discount, is it worth it? I'll see how many people we can get on this.

I’d be interested in the complete intake setup from Frankencar preferably with the Apexi Filter. But price and lead time would be the deciding factor!

I tried to contact Frankencar about a month ago.. they never responded!

With the prices that they charge on a Group deal, you can just buy them at our everyday prices for the same price. We get take care of our customers and have all of the 00-03 intakes in stock and ready to go. Just place your order online at www.berktechnology.com

Bryan

Do yourself a favor; read all the negative posts about frankencar on the bad dealer experiences section. If you order and pay at regular price will take them up to 2 months to shipp out to you; of course they charge your credit card the day of the order; if you call them, they never answer at all; so you need tons of patience; if you try to do a group deal/buy they may discount $5-10 dls and the wait will be even longer, might be 3-5 months. I ordered/waited for 2 months and nothing at all; had to call cc to get my money back which will take another 2 months; so 4 months wasted. I am waiting for Berktechnology to make the intake for 95-99 Maximas. So if you need one for that year please email them requesting it.

And yet the demand still remains. Frankencar does make one heck of a good intake!

Good luck! Took me a month to get a response from them when I first ordered mine a couple years ago. And that was with me leaving about 6 messages.

I think you guys would be better off getting a different intake... or save your money and make your own

just my .01+.01,

You're in Ma...just drive down there. I called them up and set up a time when i would be there. They are usually there working on their own cars. They installed it for me for free as well. Nice guys.

if they were so nice, why dont they answer their e-mails, and phones? why is there a bad record with them with the Better Business Bureau. i like the intake i bought from them, but it wasnt worth the $200 for all the fittings hoses and clamps. just make your own intake, you will be glad you did. all you need is a HomeDepot. oh and it took me 2 months to get mine,

Try ebay. I found my Apexi new for like $50-60ish I think. And you don't need Frankencar's MAF adapter. Anybody's MAF adapater and a $5 piece from Autozone mates it all up.

I've dealt with both Berk (for intake adaptors for the Apexi filter) and Frankencar (for the midpipe). There is no competition, customer service was 10x better with Berk. Everytime I emailed them I had a reply withing hours, Frankencar... I'm still waiting on that eMail (although I did recieve my midpipe a year ago). If only Berk made an intake for us 4th Gens...

As many horror stories I've heard from individuals about the customer service from FC, I'd never try to either be the one trying to organize or be in on a GD for any of their products.

Good luck - buy Berk
