tranny resistor plug auto

I have a 92se ve auto. was wondering if anyone can help me find the transmission resistor plug and maybe a description of what it looks like. I looked in the chilton manual and I cant find anywhere where it says anything about it. Thanks

IIRC, you are referring to the dropping resistor. Unplugging it will cause very high line pressure in your transmission. This will lead to much faster shifts and a quick death for your transmission. I don't recommend messing with it.

It's under the factory intake/filter box on the driver's side wheel well. it's a small metal square piece with JECS stamped on the top.

I know this is an old thread but what the heck.

Does anyone know if David's 92 se tranny resistor will be compatible with my 89 se transmission?
