5TH Gen Maxima 2 belts under hood.

Just figured I would share my recent experience.Just this week I replaced both belts under the hood due to significant dry rot on the serpentine belt & quite a bit on the power steering belt. My car is a 2000 & has been garaged since day one & I have 49100 miles on my car. People with similar model years or mileage should check these out before they exp problems.

How hard is it? (might've been discussed ad nauseum in the past already...)
I'm starting to hear a mild squealing sometimes while going low-speed through a turn... wondering if my power steering belt could be squealing or something... thinking about replacing them all.

Well when I put the " I " in my other post I should have clarified that I had Maximumtuning in L.I. put the belts on while they were putting on my catback exhaust. He put the serpintine belt on from underneath the car & the power steering belt on from above or vise versa but the one under neath he had a hard time with. The belts were fairly cheap from Courtesy Nissans website. Peace of mind for a cheap price.
