My max loves cool air!!!

So today was one of the first cool mornings here in SFLA with a chilling 67 degrees and I took the Max out for a morning spin to grocery store and WOW!!! does the cool air make a difference on this car! It felt awesome, with a huge pull between gears almost like if I had bolted on 30hp extra!
I wish it were like that all the time, it runs like crap when its hot and humid out. I do envy you guys up north, although the snow and ice could ruin the party!

up north I notice a diff in pick up and ride quality. my shocks give a real nice ride in the cold. if your car pick up nice at 60 dg try 30 to 40 dg WOW.

go and get an intake too. you should really feel a difference with a true CAI.

my max does better when it is cooler out,the heat is tough on them and running air conditioning sucks away some of it's get up and go. but when she really shines is during a good Michigan winter, snow up to my chin, cars stuck and sliding all over but not MAX, what traction and power, goes through it all.

well I have an injen intake, but it does no good when its 94 degrees out and 80% humidity! all it does is just suck up more hot humid air.....does anyone do anything to keep their intake charge cooler?

I love it when it is in the mid 50s and dry. Optimum operating climate.

same here.

imaging you route the intake filter to the inside of your can and turn on the AC to 65.
