Does anyone know where I can buy nismo exhaust hangers?

can we kill with the sarcasm...he's probably asking because of the frankencar exhaust, which is known to be heavier than the OEM exhaust, thus making the OEM hangers stretch out and totally useless. the exhaust moves around too much and hits the shield. the nismo hangers are much stiffer/stronger. so yeah, there really is a reason to ask that question.
i tried some other stiffer exhaust hangers, but they were the wrong size and did not work at all. i may have to end up buying the nismo ones. let's see if someone knows a place that offers a better price. the current prices are just TOO much.

I assume your replacing your exhaust & thats the reason your looking for new hangers. Anyway I went to NAPA auto parts and asked them for the OEM replacements for a 2000 Maxima as per Brian Cashman at Cattman. I had to purchase 4 new hangers & the ones from NAPA are a lot more sturdy less travel than the OEM ones. They were perfect for the Cattman catback I have no rattle or vibration. Hope this helps.

Yes, the reason I'm looking for the hangers is for the Frankencar muffler. The only place I found them is on http://www.lsauto.com/nismoperformance.asp and they are $17 a piece. I remember posts a while back mentioning several places that had them, hopefully for less $.

i believe the nismo ones are polyurethrane, hence the extra stiffness. My nissan dealer stocks jdm nismo parts. Sport compact car and super street get their parts from them.

I got mine from Ebay. The Nismo hangers will not eliminated the banging noise from the FC's catback. Base on my experience, it did helped but under real harsh impact, the "heavy" muffler will still hit the car frame. Try to sandwich some high temperature rubber materials between the muffler and the car frame.

Doesn't seem to be the case here... esp not the Frankencar... many people on here have commented that it weighs a lot more than the stock....
