Blue ish Bulbs mercedes etc use.

does anyone know what kind of bulbs im talking about? the ones that are like a sparkly blue but arent blinding . does anyone kno what they are called and what kind or size will fit 3rd gens?

You're talking about HIDs right? Most of those factory HIDS run at 4300k, its the projector prism that gives it the "color shift" effect.

There's a 3rd gen forum. Look for a thread that says let me see your e36's. Then buy a pair off ebay go through hours of installation. Buy a HID Kit not xenon light bulbs but the real thing. I also suggest you learn more about cars if you don't know what bulbs the big car manufacturers have. They'll fit your stock headlights but it'll be a waste of money because of our reflector pattern.

no no no, just take your OEM bulbs and dip them in a special blue automotive bulb paint (can't recall manufacturer right now). you must let them dry for 24 hours first.

You must speak of bi-xenon HID's through a projector. These are very different than ricer blue bulbs. bi-xenon HIDs = (more or less) $500, ricer blue bulbs = $15 (ebay).
