'02 Buzzing/Humming noise from pass front
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has had or read of anything similar happening. A few weeks ago this noise from what sounds like the right front corner started happening. It's speed and volume increases and decreases in direct relation to the car's speed. It's not affected when its put a different gear or nuetral and it's not affected by applying the brakes. It's an '02 SE auto. Gonna pull the wheel this weekend. My only guess is the bearings. Any thoughts or ideas? Anyone replace their wheel bearings? Easy/difficult? Thanks.

Has anyone else had this problem diagnosed and fixed? The clowns at the dealer said it must be the tires, so they rotated them. You would think the noise should switch to the rear, but it didn't. Its still there same as it was before I brought it in. They said they can't do anything for me.
Yeah, I know. I'm probably gonna go to a different dealer. I only have 13K left on my PT warranty, so I want to get it done. They told me they put it on a lift and put a s***hescope to all the bearings and didn't hear any problems. I asked if you could still hear the noise on the lift and he stumbled and said no. Gonna put it on jackstands and see for myself. Sounds like they are just a bunch of a$$holes there.
Sounds like the bearings. Be careful, I had my driver side bearing replaced to find out that the passenger side was also bad. The noise from the Driver side masked the noise from the passenger. Be sure its not both sides.
