Intake manifold whistling since CAI install

I installed a CAI on my 01 AE and since then I have the whistling noise from my intake manifold while driving. I can almost play it like a flute with pedal control and RPM's. It's annoying and I could have sworn I saw a post about it before something about a tube inside the intake manifold that needs to be trimmed down but after searching 20 pages I can't find anyhting. Any help or direction is appreciated.

i dont know how much it will help you but befor i installed my CAI i put a Fram Air Hog on it and i got a whisteling when the filter did not fit right in the air box. you might have a leak in the coupling of the essembly or not a full seal with the Sleeves and/or gaskets

The whistle noise is normal, you won't be ever able to get rid of it. I think it sounds awesome, and mine has been doing it for 3 years now. Pipe to trim is talked bout if you remove the throttle body restrictor plate on the 00-01s, it sticks out on the EGR equipped cars and needs to be trimmed down- but the noise will still be there.

Mine chirps, my wife actually thought it was a bird the first time she drove it after I put the cai on... you'll get used to it.

Yeah I believe it's the tube mentioned in the manifold since I did the Restrictor plate removal and all my couplers are tight. I guess I'll deal with it. It's not unbearable, sometimes I actually find myself playing throttle position and try to see how long I can get it to whistle. Thanks for the replies.
