need new muffler. suggestions please!

hi.
finally after about four years and 70k miles my stock muffler is dying.
since I can't do any search here, I would appreciate if you could give me your suggestion for a new muffler.

basically I'm looking for:
1.Quality (so it will be the last muffler for the car)
2.Not too expensive (~+-35% of OEM replacement cost)
3.Not very loud (I don't think that I would be able to stand loud roar all the time)
4.and nicely looking.

Please let me know, if you have good suggestions. And also, where is a good place to get one (online?) BTW, the process of replacement -is that something that I could do by myself, or do I have to take my car to a shop?

thanks a lot.

for replacing it, its pretty much a simple bolt on job, might want to spray the old one with some wd40 to loosen it a bit first

I'd say picking up a '02-'03 stock muffler might be a good option (classifieds section)

If you want aftermarket, I'd suggest Cattman or Frankencar.
