Hi. I have an '03 Max with the premium Bose stereo. For some reason, when I play a cd, the speakers on the driver's side aren't working. They work when the radio is played, however. Any thoughts?

 

It's a TSB, read the stickies, it happens w/ Maximas made in or from 10/02 I think but I could be wrong. Certain VIN #'s are affected, mine did the same thing once but hasn't repeated, haven't got it to the dealer yet.

 

^^what he said. I have had BLOSE #3 for almost a year, and today the POS crapped out.

 

Common problem here... I got one head unit replaced under warranty but the 2nd one is no better... its less of a problem on this one but it still comes back occassionally... not sure if its worth the effort to replace anymore...

 

Don't feel bad I'm on by 4th Bose radio in my 02.....
