where to find 02 simulators and do they work??

Hey can anyone tell me where to find an 02 sensor simulator for my 02 max? Do they work pretty well? I need one for my car cause my "lack" of a cat is throwing a cat deficiancy code. Any help would be appreciated.

I know they sell them here:

http://www.o2simulator.com/4436.html

But have no idea how well they work.

Been using mine for 5 months now and have not had a problem. Even used it to help another car pass inspection.

Do all cars without a cat throw that code? I've never seen that posted here before (but granted I haven't been reading much about removing a cat). Did you get a y-pipe and remove the pre-cats or the main cat?

What would happen if you just ignored the code?

I've been recomending 02simulator.com for almost a year now, I even was the one to send them the right color codes for the 5th gens so they include it on their site. I've had mine for a year now- no problems. I got the dual signal one on my car, no more P0420s and no cat problems- I have none

That shouldn't cause any codes to be thrown. On a 2K2, all the O2 sensors are before the cat...there are none after. (unless there are different versions I'm not aware of?)
