I've seen Civic's headlights with the chrome painted to match the car.
The Maxima has very similar headlights to the Civic, and I was wondering if it was possible to do the same to the Maxima (Rather than spending $250 for the "bronze headlights" on the AE Maxima).
Will it ruin a seal and allow condensation in the headlight?

I'm assuming that would kill your light output because the chrome parts will not reflect light as well anymore.

Didn't someone earlier have an idea to bake the headlights so they had a bronze-like color? Sounds kind of crazy, but if thats what you are going for.....

I wouldn't paint all of the chrome...just the part that is "bronze" on the AE. I can't imagine the "bronze" reflecting as much as the chrome either.
