annoying exhaust

My stock muffler was rusted out so I had it replaced with a magnaflow on the recomendation of the muffler guy who told me they were quiet. I have a y-pipe and a resonated B pipe and holy crap it sounds like ***. I seriously cant turn my music up loud enough to mask the stupid humm it makes without blowing my speakers.
Any tricks I can do to quiet it down because its just... tooo... honda...

worse comes to worse ill go back to the shop and ***** my *** of and get em to replace it with a diffrent one.

i really need some help on this one

If you already have a resonator on the B pipe then theres not much you can do... get a stock muffler or a 5th gen muffler if you wanna be different but still be quiet.

Pimp, I went with the Magnaflow about 6 months ago and I still can't get used to it. The wife keeps dropping hints on how loud it is...

I have been looking for two days on the Internet for a 5th gen muffler, no one seems to stock them. Can anyone tell me where to find one?

Maxima99SE, where'd you get your 5th gen muffler?

The cheapest and easiest way ro solve the noise problem would be to buy the dynomax turbo muffler it costs about $50 and would have almost the same flow as the magnaflow. I have heard it is very quiet also. Since the b-pipe is already resonated and you would not want to remove the y for performance reasons. The only hard part about Dynomax is that it would probably need a tip and also be welded on, still probably the cheapest option.
