I recently put a cold air intake in my maxima. For some reason it feels like I am losing power and not gainging it. Someone told me to get a 300zx mass air flow sensor to it reads more air. What do you think?

 

As far as the intake goes I won't speculate there are many things which could be causing a power loss, or more likely, it's all in your head.

Anyhow as far as the 300ZX MAF goes, it's useless to you if you have just boltons. The A32 MAF you have right now can flow about 280whp worth of air. So unless you are using forced induction it's pointless for you.

u prolly lost a lil down low with ur intake ur gains are prolly in the mid to high rpm range

 

The Z32 maf is calibrated differently than the A32 maf. So if you got one you would have to have your ecu reprogrammed by Jim Wolf Technologies. Not sure if you were aware of that.

 

what brand intake did you put on?
