I got a K&N filter and plan to do OSCAI. I know its not hard at all! It also saves some weight and add some cold air to the engine which will add power at high way speed. I just wonder if it will void warranty.

Is it like alot louder?

Not unless the OSCAI is the cause of the problem. That would be highly unlikely though. The stock sensors and tubing stay in place and the only thing removed is the L-shaped connector (2k models only). Before you take it in for service you can take the OSCAI off in a flash. There is no way for anyone to find out that you had it. As for loudness, it is slightly louder at WOT. Actually I have found that it depends on the placement of the tubing. If you point the tubing forward through the splash guard, the engine will sound a bit deeper and meaner. If you keep the tubing in the splash guard, it is less noticeable.

It is very unlikely something will go wrong with the OSCAI! But do you think those bastards would void my warranty because of it?

Because I want to remove the resonator as well.

depends on how much of a harda$$ the service guys are....but if that is your concern, just take the OSCAI off before you go in for service....like I said, no one will ever know you had it .
