vortech superchargers

does anybody know what i have to do ot make the 3.125 fit on my v2 that i just bought from vortech suoerchargers

It fits just like the one thats on there now. I would use some medium strength thread locker on the screw holding the pulley on. You will need a different size belt as well, I dont know what size that is.

If the pulley is too tight to slip over the shaft, heat it up with a heat gun.

Don't forget to cut off the post directly below the circular opening for the pulley.

give it a good smack with the hammer covering the top of the pulley with a piece of cardboard

help

i have to cut it to get the 3.125 pulley on?

ok so if i order the 6 rib 3.125 from vortech it should fit nothing is needed like a spacer or anything

Yes. The consensus here is that you have to make clearance for the belt. The post had to be filed down for a 3.33" so you can imagine what would happen with a 3.125".

Yep, I swapped out my 3.33" for a 3.125" a couple of weeks ago. I had to buy a cheap $14.00 pulley puller because my 3.33" was stuck on the spindle.
