clutch break-in period??

Well I just had some transmission work done, including a clutch replacement. I hear that I should go easy on my clutch for a while (no hard starts off the line or red-lining it) to break it in, and I've been refraining from that rough behavior so far...

Now I'm wondering how long do I have to go easy on it for? 200 miles? 500 miles? Could anyone give me a ballpark figure mileage-wise to break in the clutch?

It's just an OEM clutch...

500 miles huh? Alright, I guess I can do that...
