Does it hurt anything if I...

...have a TS ECU and put in the VB mod?
Doesnt the ECU make the RPM go higher before shifting gears, and the VB mod shift quicker? Wouldnt the trans get pulled in two different directions and cease?

No, the TS ECU dones't shift higher, only if you keep the shift lever in 1,2, or d when driving, it will go as far as 7.1k wheras the stock limit is about 6.5k But if you leave it in drive it will shif t at ~6k( that's debatable too) It wont hurt, only help.
