On my '99 Maxima, there's a device labeled "Hitachi Boost Sensor". Where does it attach. Mine is riding free between the engine block and the ram air intake.

hehe, im jk! i have no idea what that boost sensor is, dun think it really serves a purpose, hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come on and tell us!

 

the boost sensor is suppost to connect onto the scoup part of the stock intake. if you removed the snorkle part, then just attach it somewhere.. i wouldn't just let it dangle inside the engine.

 

the boost sensor is the manifold absolute pressure sensor(map) try not to let the thing get damaged its a pretty expensive sensor.

 

Thanks. It already looks like it might be damaged in the green plastic part. Any pictures that show what it's supposed to look like?
