PWR Steering Fluid?? Should I care????

Anybody wanna recommend a brand of power steering fluid for my '91 SE? I don't know if it matters at all, but i figured that you guys would know. I'm hoping to silence a noise that occurs when i make sharp left turns at low speeds - it's kind of a low rumble or shudder. I'm hoping some new power steering juice will shut it up.

thanks guys.

I always thought that power steering fluid is the same as ATF. I know on my 4th gen, the PS fluid is just Dextron III, same as ATF.

It takes regular Dexron ATF. I suggest removing one of the return lines (low pressure), and flushing the whole system out. It may have to be bled when you are done. (jack up the fron end and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times.)

I use Redline ATF for my power steering. I had to change it when I installed my SC and figured why not use the good stuf.
