Pics/Suggestions for Nitrous Button Mounting?
i wanted to mount this on my steering wheel, but of course the spinning motion kills that idea...any suggestions? pics if possible? i wanted both hands on wheel and can still push it...
Don't activate your nitrous with a button or switch, just arm it. Activate it via a WOT switch and window switch. Allowing yourself to spray at the touch of a button is just asking for trouble imho. My nitrous is armed via my foglight switch on my light stalk, a switch in my ashtray, and then sprays via a WOT switch.
is that so? i thought youd have more control with the button....i didnt even think that was "rice"....but thanks for the advice....kinda...im gonna install this weekend, ill see how this feels versus the wot activation...
What they're trying to say is that at if you're spraying you'll have a better handle on your car if you are not concentrating on when to press the button. By doing WOT activation then it only spray at WOT and when it has been activated. IMO thats more efficient and will help you keep 100% focus on the road than when to press.

When I put nawz on my eclipse, I'm putting the buttons on my steering wheel.
plus you want some stealth, you might not realize it now but once your over the fact you have nitrous you dont want many to know you have it.if you have a wot micro switch and a hidden activation switch thats the best way to go . so when you arm it nobody knows when your actually using it.mine is hidden in the compartment next to my shifter.
Go to www.SummitRacing.com and type in part # NOS-15640NOS.
That is what you want. Everybody is right, it is much more practical and useful to get a WOT switch, so that you don't accidently spray at lower RPMs. It's a matter of safety and protection, so you don't have to take your eyes or hands off the steering wheel.
