Tranny Problems seem to follow me...

a year ago, I needed to replace the tranny in my 93 SE 5spd due to grindng and broken synchros...Here we are and now my 02 6spd with 53k is currently at the Nissan service dept waiting for a new tranny to come in from Cali. I'm glad this time around its covered under warranty and I dont have to do the job in my driveway like I did last fall. I've been having problems shifting into 3rd gear for a while now and recently its been getting worse, so I brought it in and the tech said that the tranny basically just failed on me... My thought is what about this brand new tranny I'm getting put in? Will I need to go through this again in another 50k when I'm well out of warranty coverage? I've been driving a rental Sentra 1.8 they gave me since monday and they probably wont have my car ready till next wednesday or thursday. I miss my car and I dont know how much I can take driving this slow and uncomfortable thing.

Had 2 vent.
