Sylvania Silverstar H3

Are Sylvania Silverstar H3 bulbs worth purchasing? Does the light output match our HID headlights? I know the PIAA's are pretty good, but what other options are out there? I would prefer to buy the bulbs locally in case I have an issue, hence the choice of the Silverstars. thx

i have the silverstar's in my foglights.....nothing impressive. only reason i bought them was because one of my bulbs burnt out. save your money and get a HID kit.

silverstars are not worth the money imo. Better off buying regular fog light bulbs. PIAAs match well, but are pricey and some have said they are known to blow easily.

I got some Silverstars a couple months ago. They are whiter than stock, but still yellow compared the my HID's. I had been thinking about getting PIAA Super Plasmas, but didn't because of the posts here about them not lasting very long.
