i believe its 45w low beam, 65 high beam, so silverstars should be fine

JC Whitney sells a 55W - 100W bulb. Just 10 Watts over stock and they claim there DOT complient.

This is correct. I've been using the Silverstars for awhile now with no negative results (knock on wood).

Ok... The EXACT same thing just happened to me and I went through the whole research thing. Silverstars were at the top of my list, but decided that they weren'y worth the price. They will not melt your reflectors or harnesses, though. I ended up buying the Sylvania Coolblues as they were 1/3 the price, still bade in the USA, and I noticed a brighter bulb than stock. But guess what: Sylvaina XtraVisions, even cheaper than the ones I bought are brighter TO THE DRIVER than Silverstars! Out it simply, 9004 bulbs suck - one of the worst designs ever. I plan on getting aftermarket driving lights than can handle euro spec lighting, not DOT. For GREAT lighitng info, visit:

so from what i see these are actually worth getting right??? i was gunna pick them up at work but i wasnt sure whether they were worth spending the money on or not. there should be a $10 rebate when buying a pair of them so that makes the price a lil more attractive. looks like ill hafta try em out

they're pretty expensive - about 25 a bulb at my local store, i think i'd rather get PIAA's for about the same price
