Hello all,

My name is Thai Hoang, pretty new at the Maxima.org, so please help me out with the problem that I have yesterday when I did rewired the fog lights on my '95 GXE Maxima.
I did follow the instructions that I found posted on the board at Maxima Electrical sections, here is the problem............I cut the Green/Yellow and run the NEW wire from the remain Green/Yellow (from the fog's relay) to the side marker's Red/Blue, by the way, I did test it before hand, the fog was on when I touch the wire with battery's + terminal, until I put everything back to its place, the PARKING LIGHT WAS NOT ON AT ALL (including the side markers, rear end lights), the only thing came on with the fog was headlights....... what did I do wrong? Did I blow any fuses? where is the corner's (parking lights) fuse located? PLEASE, PLEASE help me out. Thanks million for any helps. I'm looking forward to hear from you soon.

PS. my email address (just in case): thai@shirtboy.com
Is there anybody live around Fairfax County, VA...please help me out with this problem, greatly appreciated.
Warm Regards.

Thai Hoang.

worked for me..

i dont know if you did anything wrong, course i guess something must have gone wrong, but i did this mod too and it worked perfectly. I got a 95SE with the stock fogs, are you using stock fogs or AM? I dont know about AM fogs but the mod worked out for me without a hitch, my advice is to just go over it step by step again...

Thanks so much Justin95SE, I did it...

Thanks Justin95SE, it works now, it has OEM fogs. I did go over every thing again....then I found out the fuse was blown off, I replace the fuse...WOW...it looks so fine now with just the corner lights (also modified) and the fogs, I'm going to do the blinkers and side markers this weekend.
Anyway, greatly appreciated for your help. Once again, YES, I DID IT.

Amazing how things work. When I was first reading your post, I thought to myself.....check the fuse, and sure enough, thats' what it was.

Hey, I appreciate the offer. I have the directions printed out, I just have to make some time to try it. I'm not the best when it comes to the electrical stuff (except for stereo system's) but I'll let you know if I run into anything. Thanks again, and by the way I'm in south florida.

.....If you are good at stereo, I think you can do this easily, just take it easy that's all, because the relay box is so tight down there, becareful with the wires.
