s'up y'all...

As a newbie I'm apparently forbidden to search, so here's my question: is there a recommended brand of oil filter?

My experience with other vehicles has been "OEM is best" and others are crap. On the other hand, there are those who swear by Wix/Fram/Purolator and some that say it hardly matters if you change oil frequently enough.

Anyone have opinions on this? Is there some collective knowledge that I'm missing here?
