2nd CV axle failiure in a month
So about a month ago, I noticed a strange squeaking sound from the left front of my car....I ignored it for a couple of weeks and then WHAM, my CV axle snaps at the axle nut. I limped to the repair shop and 2 days later I had my car back with a new left CV axle, new wheel bearing, and brake rotor. Then today I was going off on a freeway onramp when WHAM! Without warning the EXACT SAME FAILIURE happened on the RIGHT CV axle. Has anyone else experienced this, or do I just have extremely bad luck?
