Hey I finally will be able to replace my broken knock sensor in a few days and I look foward to getting all the lost power back cuz the car drove like it was in safe mode. My question is, after about 300-500 miles of driving in safe mode should I be concerned about any engine problems from doing so? Someone told me that my timing was probably off by at least 10 degrees and that that is bad for the engine and I could have a carbon build-up.
