My rear main seal is leaking. It leaks the worse on a cold morning when warming up the engine for the wife. After warming up it seems to leak very little. Is their any "leak seal additives" anyone would recommend? Why does it leak worse on a cold morning when first cranked up and idiling? Thank you for responses.

I wouldn't recomend using additives. I used some on my old car and it just made things worse. In hot weather things expand and in cold they retract.
