Best place to buy tires online??? Help

I need tires for inspection as soon as possible. Please where is the cheapest place to buy tires on-line??? I need 225/50/17's. I only need one in the front right, but I was thinking of just buying two and keeping the one for a spare so they would be even. Is this a good idea the other tire is only about 5 months old.

Buy local

Tirerack has the best prices from what I've seen. However, you will still have to get the tires installed which can eat up the difference. Overall, I've found that your best bet is to negotiate an installed price with a local dealer. They have beat the on-line prices every time I've tried. Also, if you have a problem with the tire, the local dealer should be easier to deal with than potentially sending the tire back to tirerack.

Tire Rack is awesome, I've bought 3-4 pairs there, but this last time around I found out that NTB (Tire King now?) will price match them (bring a print out of the price etc...). I ended up with the Tire Rack price, but with the install and the rotation and lifetime balance for the Tire Rack price. I ended up paying tax, but it was worth it to get the other stuff included.

Agreed. DiscountTire for Falkens. For most everything else go TireRack. Love supporting those guys.

I want tires that will be good all year. I live in PA so I will have some snow each year. I also want long tread wear at the best possible price. Any suggestion on different type of tires I should look into?

Many have purchased tires from www.edgeracing.com including myself. I was pleased with their service and prices.
