question about collecter pipes for turbo set-up

i've been reading alot of the threads on turboing a maxima and have found alot of useful information, except the only thing was i was trying to find the size set-up and routing of the collecter pipes for the v6 maxima, i have a 96 auto and was wondering if anyone here had a pic of there pipes or maybe a diagram or opinion on what size to use as well as how to route them around the tranny and my last question is also what size piping are people using for intercooling piping

hate to be an ***, but there are literally 5-10+ threads in this forum that clearly show and/or describe the piping setup....even a CAD drawing of the piping layout...its not that hard to find them...this is a constantly asked question

I am also curious what size piping people are using. I have seen a lot of nice setups and plenty of pics. But I'm curious what size piping people use for their intercooler setup. I know it really depends on what turbo and FMIC you get. I am getting a turbo with a 2" outlet, so would it be a good idea that I use 2" intercooler piping? Any suggestions how and when I should upsize it to 3" before it gets to my throttle body? 2" seems pretty small to me for piping. Thanks.

I seen cars efficiently use 2.25" piping up to 500hp...big IC piping is not that necessay. as for the TB just buy a 3" to 2.25" transition connector or weld on a 2"->2.5" reducer and buy a more common 3" to 2.5" connector

I run 2" right off the turbo then up size to 2.5 just before the IC then from the IC to almost the throttle body it's still 2.5 then the last section is 3" to my TB. I'd run all 2.5" if it was me starting all over again.

From the Manifold collectors to the point where they merge into one the two single pipes need to be 2" Where they merge into one and lead up to the turbo it should be 2.5" (up pipe). I'd suggest the largest down pipe that can fit. I'm dumping the stock GN down pipe section that I got from a friend here very soon. I've got the beginings of a 3" started. The stock GN DP starts in 2.25 then up to 2.5. It's just too restrictive. This is the only section I believe Can't be over done.. The bigger the DP the better!
