I have a black 02 max and was wondering which taillights you guys think look better on it the stock clear or the 00-01 smoked se taillights? Your opinions are appreciated.

 

00-01 SE tails on a dark max. no other way to go.

 

Definately the 00-01 SE tails. I put them on my car and they look GREAT! (check it out on my cardomain site)

You should be able to find plenty of people that would trade their tails with you. If not in St. Louie, drive up to Chicago.

 

Hands down the 01 SE tails BELONG on ALL dark colored Max's.

 

Definitely for dark colored Max's, the '00-'01 SE's are the way to go. In fact, you should send your lights to me and I'll send you mine. Your '02's would look much better on my white Max and my '00's would look much better on your Black Max.

 

I have 00 Red Lights, will definitely trade someone for their 01 or 00 SE LIGHTS

 

Does anyone have any pics of the 00-01 se tails on a majestic blue max. I wouldnt mind trading some one my 03 oems for 00 - 01 se black tails. PM me if anyone is interested

 

00-01 se tails are hands down better. sorry to all the 5.5 gens, i just feel the clear ones looks to ricey... it the same thing Misubishi did to the Eclipse.

Where online can i find the 00-01 tailights?

 

i got mine from just a random OEM parts site online. they arent real OEM, cuz that was too much money, but they look just fine. just do a google search, i think they were $80 a piece.

 

I had the clear 5.5 gen tails took them off and have the cleared tails with black housing from CM and I like them..but now I want too see what looks better the ones I have now or the 2k-2k1 se tails...?

 

I bought OEM's from a dealer here in Utah and they were only $90.00 each.

 

Go with the Se tails, try looking through the classifieds, ebay, or dealers.

 

01 SE tail lights look the best on black maximas IMO... you could even probably find a pair through a junkyard

 

Switched mine with a local .Org member... he had a sterling mist 01 and wanted chrome tails... look around your regional forums... I'm sure someone will wanna do the switch...

Junkyards are also a good idea....

 

i had the all red ones when i bought my car...i just painted mine instead of buying new ones

Theres a store in St. Louis where I live that sells car parts and they have 00-01 maxima se taillights brand new. I'm not sure if they are oem or oem replica but they are $50 each. The store is called Certifit and the number is (314) 993-2222 if any of you guys want these for your cars or they also have other body parts at real good deals.
