yeah CoolBlues are slightly brighter at night but you can't tell the difference if you look at them from outside

^ youre right. I have tried every sylvania bulb. I use XV now.

How about the silver stars??(Also by sylvania) I want to upgrade but can't afford hids.

I have Silver Stars right now, they're not bad, I wanna say Cool Blues are brighter but I might be wrong, it's been a while since i had Cool Blues. They're definately brighter than stock though.

do the conversion to 9007! (in FAQ's) i just did mine, and it lights better than my friends 2003 maxima's headlights... not sure if his are HID's AIM me... i ll send you a video my lights... i dont have any pics though

silver stars look nice but the life expectancy is rather short. My ex had SS for a few months in her accord and one blew. I recommended the XV to replace them. She says the XV are brighter and work better in all conditions. I have a pic of the color difference if any one wants to see. As you can imagine the SS looks "bluer" or "whiter" than the "yellow" XV.

They have a slight greenish purple tint to them, and are much whiter than stock. My fogs are using stock bulbs for reference:





And a pic of the stock headlights:



These silverstars seem ok. I wasn't planning on buying them but **** happens. At $30 they aren't gonna exactly break you, and now you know what they look like. They seem the same as stock at night. I drive with fogs on all the time so it's hard to tell where exactly they hit the road.
