Check what he claims. Anyone know of a 96 maxima that is RWD?

Straight pipe? What is he doing? Removing the cat?

Yes, he IS removing the cat! This is what I've been looking for. Every time I goto have my car pollution check, I will install the cat back on. When I am driving, I will install this pipe on a and get more power. Not just more power, but from what I heard from my professor. He saved tons of gas without running the cat.

I think I want to buy this pipe. The problem is that I am not willing to pay if its over 15 bucks.

Do you know what guys? I saw the exact pipe on ebay earlier a couple weeks ago , only except it wasnt painted silver (it was all rusted) and The seller didnt have as much b.s. info. Hes a quack. Dont buy it. His claim about it being titanium coated, is b.s. He just painted the rusty pipe! His claim about the max being rwd? He posted on ebay earlier, and couldnt sell so he painted the pipe!

an Earth to drive on

Please... do NOT muck with your catalytic converter!

The whole point of using these things is to keep the air clean. You do these "tricks" of having it off in between inspections and you're doing our environment a tremendous disservice. Don't you want the people living 50 years from now to be able to breathe clean air??

Gasoline powered cars have their days numbered... although it will still be some time to come. Alternative fuel and electric power will make their way in. Yes, no more zipping from 0-60 in less than 7 seconds. But at least we'll be able to live in a breathable world. In the meantime, we still need to do our part to keep emissions low.

Thanks for listening...

does 9-16 horse sound accurate...

i would expect 5-8 being generous, but hes claiming twice that... sounds kinda hopeful to me.

also to the guy who says 0-60 in under 7 sec...

if you recall, when gas powered cars were invented first they were lucky to do 60mph. I agree that their days are numbered but i think it is ignorant to say that future cars will be slower. Also, anybody hear of that hydrogen powered scooter that is supposed to come out in a few years?
